Below is a list of the Membership Types that IIDA has to offer.  Read further to discover which type of member you could be!

Professional Membership

If you are an Interior Designer and have passed the NCIDQ exam or if you are an Architect actively engaged in the profession of Interior Design, you qualify as a Professional Member.  For more details, click here.

Associate Membership

If you are an Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years formal Interior Design education, and are not NCIDQ-certified, you qualify as an Associate Member.  For more details, click here.

Educator Membership

If you are a full-time educator or a department chair, we invite you to join us as a Professional or an Associate Member at reduced membership rates.  For more details, click here.

Student Membership

If you are enrolled as student studying Interior Design, we invite you to join us as a Student Member.  For more details, click here.

Affiliate Membership

If you are actively engaged in a field other than Interior Design such as landscape architecture, lighting design, or architectural photography, you can join the Association as an Affiliate Member.  For more details, click here.

International Membership

If you are an active Interior Designer located outside of an area covered by an IIDA chapter, you can apply as an International At-Large Member.  If you are already an active Member with BSID (Bermuda), IDC (Canada), or BIID (UK), you can qualify as an International Dual Member.  For more details, click here.

Industry

If you work for a manufacturer of interior design products or you are a rep for a manufacturer, you qualify as an Industry Member.  Individual memberships as well as company memberships are offered.  For more details, click here.
