COSMO COUTURE 2026

The IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter's Washington Metro City Center Cosmo Couture DC fundraising event will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 5pm - 9pm at The National Building Museum.

This year marks the 14th Cosmo Couture event! Cosmo Couture DC fosters a direct collaboration between local Architecture & Interior Design firms and their manufacturing partners in the Washington, DC area to create garments reflecting a given theme. This year's theme is POP! The garments are judged during a runway show and awards are given to design teams in different categories.

Parking

Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area, with several parking garages within walking distance of the National Building Museum. Parking can be limited during busy event times, so we encourage guests to plan ahead.

Metro

The National Building Museum is conveniently accessible by Metro. The closest stations are Gallery Place–Chinatown and Judiciary Square, both within walking distance of the venue.

Rideshare

Rideshare is strongly encouraged. Uber and Lyft are convenient options for getting to and from the event, especially during peak event hours. We recommend planning your pickup and drop-off in advance.
