Cosmo Couture 2024
2024 marked the 13th biennial Cosmo Couture event, and we had an absolute blast witnessing the incredible, out-of-this-world creations from all our talented teams.
This signature event fosters a direct collaboration between local Architecture + Interior Design firms and their manufacturing partners in the Washington, DC area to create garments reflecting a given theme. The garments are judged during a runway show, and awards are given to design teams in different categories. The theme for 2024 was Out of this World.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this unique and highly anticipated event! Check out this year's winners below, and stay up to date on social media at CosmoCoutureDC. We can't wait to see you all again in 2026!

We have a new venue! We will be at the National Building Museum in the heart of Washington, DC. Once registered, please review the welcome packet for more details on the space.

A Fashion Team is a collaboration between 1 design firm, 1 material/manufacturer sponsor, and potentially 1 non-material fashion sponsor. This team will create a garment for a model to walk in the Cosmo Couture fashion show. Both a Single Sponsor Team and Double Sponsor Team are available this year.
A Double Sponsor Team is a fashion team with two sponsors – one material sponsor and one non-material sponsor. A material sponsor is your typical manufacturer of any built environment good. A non-material sponsor could be a furniture dealer, real estate firm (PMs/brokers), general contractor, or other consultants like AV or MEPs. This team type was created to be more inclusive of our industry friends who provide a service and not a product; it also helps with cost sharing between sponsors! Having more than two sponsors is not allowed. This double team type is optional, as we still have our classic, Single Sponsor Fashion Teams available.
